I lady called me saying she had frozen a transaction from going to a offshore account in China. The currency was bitcoin. This was odd as these transactions go to a bit coin wallet then to a debit card that is registered on your account. She did no DPA to verify that I was the account holder. Then she wanted me to download a app I refused so she asked if I have a pc or laptop. I said pc she wanted to screen share. I would do no such things I told her then hug up.

When I 1471 d I got the number 0161 918 0023. On calling the number, I am informed that "This number is temporarily out of order"! Can someone please explain to me the legality of this? They phoned my elderly mother aged 87 at 8am then hung up!
I am fed up of these people phoning every day. I try and not pick up if the number looks at all suspicious but it just wastes my time. It is time we stopped these scammers.

My father keeps getting calls from this number on his mobile in South Africa. He is a cancer patient and in hospital... it has been going on for more than a year, they just keep calling. It distresses him very much. He only has the phone to call my mum when he needs her to bring something to hospital.
