This people claim to sell tickets to Nigeria/Ghana but ask one to pay deposit and at the end they are no where to be found.
Similar number 2380206584 is already reported here with life insurance - probably this one is the same case, same call centre? I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message. Have missed calls from them on my mobile, was trying to dig some info on the internet before calling them back, but found nothing, no luck. People pls did someone answer this number, who is it?
SCAM There was a short pause after I picked up the telephone, with a lot of background noise, such as you might get from someone in a crowded bar, not what I'd expect from a legitimate outfit. The person who spoke had a thick accent so I initially thought it might be from an overseas call centre. The person who spoke said they were from British Telecom, so I told them where to go and hung up.

Rang off when answering, I am a business so rang back just in case was a client. Got a recording about Home Appliance Guard, yet the phone number that popped up is a Telford number, probably a sales call if a human was going to answer, more likely an auto dial call.

Was asked if I was home owner and I replied 'I haven't requested that, would you like to tell me about it?' To which she replied 'You're quite rude so I'll get someone else to call you later' I am quite offended as my tone was neutral and relatively friendly.
This is a firm of surveyors who want to make Rating Appeals. We are registered with TPS and have also asked them to stop making calls - they ignore both facts. They are just like PPI Claims people. Have complained to TPS and to ICO and now to the RICS who are their Professional Body. Their website says they have a 70 seat call centre - so must be making thousands of calls every day.
