Phoned from call center, (I think they were the magazine sellers), they offered me 3 magazines for a good price & said I could pay over the phone. They were very nice at 1st & careful to explain how they wanted my bank details, (not a debit/credit card) & that that is safe, (I discovered that it's true), but they were very, very, insistent, determined & wouldn't take no for an answer! Call from a SCAM gardening & landscaping firm who send round a team (family members) who will not go away until paid large sums of money. My mother paid them nearly £600 for about an hourwork with a chainsaw cutting down healthy trees. They demanded payment in cash & took her to the bank to collect that. I reoprted the offenders to Greater Manchester police who refused to take action.
