Insurance for appliances. Smart Cover Solutions telephoned me on this number. A salesman who gave his name as Luke Smith trying to sell kitchen appliance insurance cover. He had my name, address, bank details, password?, kitchen appliances. Not all the information was true, and I did not enlighten him what was true and what wasn’t. He said he could reduce the insurance by 40%, I pay on my washing machine. I do not have any insurance on it! I told him I was contacting bank fraud department.
Recorded message about PPI. Seriously, if I d a) had PPI and b) wanted to give some random company 30% of any compensation I could perfectly well obtain by doing it myself, then I would have answered one of their SIX previous calls or one of the hundreds, possible thousands of calls from other swindlers.
