This number, 01223660041, rang my mobile and I declined the call. Then I immediately received a missed call text from a different number, 01515249700. I called both back yo see who had called and both had the same identical message, sounding like "thanks for calling fresh contacts. Please wait for next agent" at which point I terminated my call.

I called the telecoms company who own this number range. They only provide inbound calling services, and this number isn t in use with any of their customers. It means that the caller ID is being spoofed which is completely out of their control - the nuisance calls we are getting are really from a different number that is masking as 02070609965. I only answered because they have called me repeatedly for over a month. A man first asked for Lucy then when I said hello again he asked for Paul. I called the number from my land line & its possibly a company called something like Turn Signal. When I asked him to repeat the name he asked for my name so I hung up.
Strong lndian accent and claimed he was from Citezens advice. I told him l was on the telephone preference service and he would be reported. He then started to argue aggressively with me and l ended the call. Awful man and obviously a scam.

Number came up with Picture of white male named Andrew Roy based in Stirling. However on answering caller was Asian female who immediately launched into asking questions mode. I responded that I don t take cold calls on my mobile and wouldn t be answering her questions - she then went into attack mode and tried to argue why I should answer. Red buttoned and blocked.

My aged mother in law had a call from them saying they wanted to renew her prevention of nuisance calls. She asked me to speak to them as she could not clearly hear them. They said she had previously had this service and it had expired. To renew it they wanted what the caller called my mother in law's call protection number which was actually her debit card 16 digit number, in order to identify her.
