I was called by this number 020 8089 4571 and they claimed to be HMRC and wanted to get £4K off me, when I asked why I was not informed before hand they said you will find out when ‘they’ knock on your door and arrest you and suspended your identity for 5 years. Pathetic!

Fraud Automated call allegedly from Amazon Prime saying contract is renewing for another year. Wants you to press 1 to be transferred to someone if you want to cancel, most likely to get banking and name and address info.
Accident Claim
I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognise so whoever this is should take a hint and stop trying to contact me because your number is blocked. It's a very sneaky trick to disguise your number as a local call but I'm wise to your little games and I'm not interested!
Receipt of this call coincided with the real Talk Talk offering a new contract designed to keep me as a customer. A preliminary was that they were improving my broadband to stop buffering - a long-standing issue. The recorded voice I heard gabbling in this call was telling me, for the umpteenth time, that my broadband was going to be disconnected. These criminals use different fictitious numbers each day. Tentel customer service- not entirely cold calling as they contact you after you've entered your phone number on their website as though you were right about to buy an internet package from them. They pretty much just want to try and seal the deal and are able to provide any additional information like average speeds and were polite, honest and to the point in my case. The standard broadband speed was low (5.5mb) and they were apologetic but offered the fibre broadband as it was also available. Seems legit!
