SCAM Got a call just now from 020 8089 6127 by a South African sounding woman, saying she was from a company called Teabag, and she went on the say I understand you have defrauded out of money on-line and want to get it back. When I asked how she got my name and phone number she hung up.

This number is ringing my BT landline every day at different times of the day claiming to be from the BT technical department. The caller says they have been monitoring my broadband connection for several weeks and have detected a number of unauthorised users using my IP address. To correct this they want me to open my computer and accept new settings that they are about to give me. At this point I hang up assuming this is a scam and will give access to my PC and everything that is stored on it.

Received a text message from this number allegedly about a delivery by EVRI - as I am expecting a delivery (from DHL) I precipitately clicked on the link which read; EVRI(UK10094786). Out of curiosity I navigated to the EVRI website and entered a combination of the above and the full set. EVRI did not recognize it any of it. Fraud Said from Virgin Media security saying hackers were on my router Started to tell me to download an app on my mobile so they could send me a security code when confronted and asked questions they panicked and hung up. BEWARE

SCAM As soon as I answered a recorded message started that two withdrawls had been made from a bank account. No name of bank, name of holder, card number etc etc. This is a scam and is the same recording as several other calls I have received.

I received a call from an Asian sounding female saying she was from Havering council asking if I need snd housing repairs . Her accent was quite wrong snd when asked to repeat her request she huffed and puffed as if it was annoying her .

Automated message claiming that financial transactions had been made on my card this morning. Press x to authorise etc. The message did not give the name of any bank or organisation.
