I love these guys, I keep them on the phone as long as possible to waste their time. I m really nice to them and try to sound terrified at what they are telling me, you can have some real fun trying to keep them on the line.
Automated call partly from the HMRC Informing me that someone used my details to commit tax fraud and that if I didn't follow on with the call by pressing the number they gave me via options I would be arrested. Complete rubbish Please do not get sucked into this con. Complete scammer.

Just had call from Hannah Claim injury law 02036349839. She told me I had been in a car accident, I didn t confirm I had or hadn t & asked where she got her information, she said from road traffic department. She again asked me to confirm if I had. I asked what was name of person she was wanting to speak to to which she replied does anybody else at that address drive. I asked her name of company telling her I wanted it to report them, she gave me it again.

We have had 3 calls within 5 mins, each person says that according to their industrial records I or a person at my address has worked in a factory in the past 20 years etc etc..... obviously they are cold calling to drum up legal claims trade!!!!!! Each time I tell them no one has worked in this sort of environment and each time they say they ll remove from their records and then surprise we get another call. TPS are absolutely useless!!!!!!!!

This is the UK version of a scam running amok in the US. The supposed company, microsoftechs.com, contacts people and claims there is an issue with their computer. The claim to be partnered with Microsoft and gain confidence with all the classic scam talk. If you do get scammed, they will access your computer via remote access, go through your email, install software and who knows what else. I contacted this number after several missed calls, the company is called Freshstart, from what they said they get your info via loan applications etc, They seem to either provide or find you Debt Management company/PPI insurance recovery and probably other things. I just said I didnt need it and to take me of the call list.

SCAM -Amy, from Microsoft Corporation (yeah, right!), has been receiving reports that my computer has been hacked, gave me a 32 digit licence number (I thought it should be 25) and wanted to help me check it on the computer. When I refused to turn the computer on, she said that I would have to go to their HQ in Reading in the next 3 days, but when I asked how to contact her she hung up. Strange, that!
