Told the caller his records were out of date as they were the last time he called.... so I don't think we have anything to discus. Hung up. This is a call from Funding Circle, it is to follow up on an application so there is no harm in answering.
Called repeatedly but didn't leave a message. When I call the number back it had a unusual answer message saying, robotically, my call was very important

Lady asked if i want to authorize or cancel Amazon purchase of a gift card £300.00 She asked about BOB and Full name but when I asked to give me my name she said that she approves the purchase because i refused to give my name and hanged up. Safe number Is actually an Indian guy calling who refers you to O2 who sign you up for their Sim Only deal. Shame they have a dodgy-sounding Indian guy getting them customers, because it makes O2 look dodgy. FYI: I have received all genuine emails and contract info from O2 and... I received my SIM! 100% legit (apart from the guy calling millions of numbers from India hoping to get someone to say yes so he can earn his referral commission from O2!).

Difficult to hold a sensible conversation, transpired person wanted to make a case for selling wall and roof insulation. Not needed but difficult to close a conversation with caller who isn't listening!
Somebody purporting to be "Ellie from Options" texting me about my non-existent job application, asking for my address, email address, national insurance number, copies of passport, birth certificate, proof of national insurance, copy of my Cscs card (whatever that is!) back and front, 2 x working references.
