This number rang me the other day. A number I don’t recognise. I don’t know who the one who called me with this number so I didn’t answer.

Called by this number today at 13:18. Claimed that I had unsecured debts, when I told him I had none, he said my details would be removed (I doubt it....)

Rang on a number of occasions now despite being ex-d & registered with TPS. Claim to offer consumer discounts on retail goods & services. Complete nonsense. Very persistent in trying to obtain bank a/c details for a £1 payment towards a trial payment. ITS A SCAM - DO NOT DIVULGE ANY DETAILS.

This is the UK version of a scam running amok in the US. The supposed company, microsoftechs.com, contacts people and claims there is an issue with their computer. The claim to be partnered with Microsoft and gain confidence with all the classic scam talk. If you do get scammed, they will access your computer via remote access, go through your email, install software and who knows what else. I m getting really sick of these calls now. I am registered with TPS but am called both on my mobile and home number. I actually pressed 5 to speak with someone and she just put the phone down on me. Called me today to mumble something about life insurance. I said I have it and the caller then mumbled for about a minute and I said - politely - I don’t understand a thing you just said. She said “oh realy then how are you able to respond?” Which is both nonsensical and confrontational. Then she put the phone down. She beat me to it.
