Some idiot asked for my Mum by name, when I asked why he wanted to speak with her he said she d been in a car accident and was due compensation. I pointed out that she died in 2009 and had never driven a car in her life! A male rang with suspicious questions today (26/6/15). He would not identify himself or his company properly when asked; I think he quickly said '{RTL Ltd}' but would not repeat the company name or identify what his company did. He quickly put the phone down on me when I started to sound concerned as to his motives for calling me. The call originates from Halifax UK and follows a suspicious call yesterday from 'Jordan' at a company he called 'Dexter Nicholas' who, not surprisingly, are also in Halifax. I

SCAM They left a voicemail saying something about me not being able to use my national insurance number anymore. The voicemail was a digital voice and the message was incomplete. Tried calling back as I always like to wind them up but they didn't answer. I've blocked their number and if it was genuine then I'm sure they'll find another way to communicate with me.
