SCAM - left an automated voicemail saying they're investigating criminal activity in regards to recent financial transactions and said 'press 1 for more information and legal charges', which is clearly not possible on a voicemail. Definitely scamming people.
Fraud Got a phone call from this number. I answered the call and nobody answered for about 20 seconds. Then a very thick Indian accent said "Hello, this is Jenny from BT Openreach.....". I replied "No your not...your a scammer" and hung up. I know and live in this dialing code and there are no BT Openreach offices in this area. Given the accent and that it is BT Openreach (which I don't even use) I suspect this is an Indian based scam call centre.

When I picked up the phone I was told I was being called as I had had an accident. It wouldn't have been me anyway as I had answered my wife's mobile phone !! I asked who the company who the company was... I had an answer mumbled back at me... Then asked whether I would like to discuss the accident - I asked who had asked that the company call me.... and the caller hung up ! Technique - asked them a question, every time they ask you one !!
Just made a payment via login to my Vanquis account. Payment made and showing Authorised. BUT after a few mins, here's/following message was being received. 'Your payment has been declined. For security, can you reply with your date of birth?' I'm very much doubted. then immediately checked my paying card's bank account, payment had taken and left from that account. Called at 09:45. I answered but said nothing as I didn’t recognise the number, so they hung up, which I felt was very rude. After a few minutes I rang back, it went through to a voicemail which said it was Crown Glazing and if I pressed 1 then they would stop calling me. Do they think I am an amateur!? Just had a fun half hour with this bunch, I called them 28 times asking them to stop calling me, they went mental! What a great way to wind someone up who you're sick of getting calls from. In the end they pleaded with me to stop calling them.
