Been a rash of these lately from different numbers. They ring and when you don t answer they send a text message from the number to say you missed a call from that number. Designed to appear as a normal phone notification, it s actually a text message from the caller. Far too dodgy to bother with. Suspect some kind of premium rate scam. Blocked obvs.

SCAM Some lady called me asking "If she could come up" or something. I said she got the wrong number. A few minutes later, same number, played an automated message saying I bought something for $799 on Amazon.com or something and I just hung up before it could finish. What a tool.

Woman could barely speak English, kept saying "Sorry" and wouldn t tell me where she got my number from. Said she would remove me from the "list" but I doubt that will happen. Will report to ICO.

SCAM claimed to be from UK DWP saying my National Insurance Number was being suspended and to press #1 on keypadto speak fo "advisor". I knew this was a scam as my ex parrner works for DWP that deals with such matters and this isn't how they operate. Pressed 1 and spoke to some numpty in what I think was Dehli. Its a con, challenge him and he hangs up, claims to be Bt
SCAM left voicemail. When listened to it just said press 1 if you didn't make the payment. No mention of the company payment was made to or how much was paid etc. No introductions to their name or company name. Definitely a scam. Beware! don't press 1, it sounds fishy
