This number has called me a couple of times. On both occasions the recorded message states that £700 has been taken from my card for Amazon and £2000 for another transaction. It asks you to press different buttons 1 or 2 to authorise or stop the transactions. On both occasions I hung up and checked my bank account and my amazon account. This is a scam. Be aware.

SCAM. Claiming large bank charges made from account from amazon and a wire transfer company. I hadn’t recognised the number so details were left on the answerphone.

SCAM First I received a silent call from 028 8505 1239 (to verify a working number?) Then within 5 minutes, I started getting whatsapp messages from a very attractive female profile asking when I was going to visit her using the number 07727214429. Looks like a scam to me.

Now called claiming to be British Gas and asking to supply gas and electric readings

I was called from this number this morning claiming to be from my bank. It was a recorded message and not a ‘live’ caller. I was informed there were two suspect transactions from my account and, if they weren’t from me, I should press 1 on my keypad. I hung up immediately, checked my bank account and saw that the transactions didn’t exist so I assume that this was an attempted scam.

Received a call from 01156772574, they claimed to be from Virgin media and offered a contract renewal for a Samsung S23 unlimited texts/mins and internet all for £25/month. Please whatever you do, do not give your financial details to these Indian scammers! This company reported to be Heating Services, claims to act on behalf of British Gas Homecare and deals with all their support services. They rang to say they are reducing the cost of my homecare cover and including plumbing and electricity repairs. All I need to do is amend my Direct Debit. This is a company scamming customers as they had all me details.

Could not pronounce my name and offered a discount on all my white goods as I hadn't claimed in the last 6 months..... Had my address and postcode then for their records asked for Bank sort code ..... you can guess what said then !

Fraud Automated voice telling me there has been a payment request for £800. from my VISA card. They then ask you to press 1. Obviously I didn't.

I believe I have received what I believe to be a scam call from this number stating payments have been taken form my bank for Amazon and Western Union press 1 for customer support. Any 'odd' payments would not be reported by my bank in this way

This number tried to call me twice. I don’t know who they are. I did not answer the first time, the second time I made my boyfriend answer and they hung up on him as soon as he said hello. I then messaged them saying “who is this?” They responded at midnight saying “He’ll be there in the morning to meet you, code on the gate is the same. Get to bed!” I blocked their number as soon as they sent that message. It has really freaked me out and I’m scared that someone is going to come to my house.

This number is a scam. Male Asian accent,Asking if I had my Covid vaccinations. I ask him who he was and what organisation. He said from CCG Manchester which is 300 miles from my own CCG. I rang Manchester CCG to let them know.

Fraud/SCAM Pretends to be Revolut, they knew my name, home address and email address used with Revolut. Claimed my card ending NNNN was added to new device, tried to get more information. When I asked how do I know they are Revolut, they said I can check number at the back of the card. Wanted to confirm my last transaction - if I shared information they would be able to possibly attempt access recovery on my account. The caller number can be easily spoofed. I didn't believe him but told him he could email me the offer and I'd review it. He called back briefly afterwards to ask my name (which he spelt so wrong that I didn't correct it!)
