Phoned my landline on 20 Jan. 2023 pertaining to be from Amazon Prime and stating that they had taken £94 from my bank account. I was offered a number of options to query this but hung up as it was obviously a hoax call. Amazon Prime would not contact in this way. They tried again on 21 Jan., this time from a different number 01216834924.

28 Nov. 2022 (17:33) a chap with Indian accent called me claiming to be from BT to say that my computer may have been compromised and that he could check that for me if I switched it on and he ran a quick check. Complete nonsense of course and an attempted scam. He said he was calling from London but the area code is Falkirk (Scotland).
Unsure wat type of call this was - I answered and there was no response, went dead 3 seconds later. Tried calling back, number is dead. Data gathering scam is my suspicion as I was duped into subscribing to something last week and I've had a million spam emails since.

An Indian sounding gentleman on a very bad line, claimed to be calling me from Currys PCWorld with a promotion to upgrade my cellphone (his term) for no charge, could I just confirm what phone I currently had? As I do not have a mobile contract through Currys PCWorld I knew this was a scam call and hung up.
Call center SPAM Said his name was Alex, however he had a very strong Indian accent. He said that he was phoning from British Gas!? It was about boiler cover, house hold cover for both gas and electric. Asked a couple of questions. I'm guessing spam - didn't let them get far to find out as I kept quizzing them about who they were and never confirming who they are supposed to be talking to. Said they were from a company called something like brnza (couldn't quite understand the accent) saying they want to email me something on behalf of Dell and they read out an email address they wanted me to confirm (which of course I wouldn't). I basically said this call is unauthorised, I refuse you to email me anything and do not call me again.

This is a scam company trying to sell services for stock trading. They use a multiple mobile back up numbers also. They are always non English natives with Russian, east European, Indian accents featuring. They will offer to send you a clickable What's App link which is possibly infected with a Trojan virus or takes you to a website. They will keep calling no matter you telling them you are not interested. Definitely avoid.
Purported to be from an unidentified Bank or Credit Card Company advising of unauthorised spends from an account, one £300 and the other £1000. Usual, "press 1" instructions. Hung up as suspect a financial scam.
