I get several calls a week from this company which I ignore. As it seems they have first names they must be getting this information from phone companies selling lists on. Only my friends, family and phone company know my number AND name.

called twice in 2 days. First time I inadvertently rejected. Second time I was asked to confirm my name. I replied who is this please and caller hung up immediately.
From background noise it was a call centre, but after a short time they hung up without speaking.

The caller was an automated voice claiming to be the HMRC. I was told that legal action was being taken against me for tax evasion and that I needed to press 1 on the keypad to get more information. Instead of doing that, I hung up and logged into my account online; nothing of the sort has appeared on my account, so I have to assume this is a scam aiming to get personal information from people

A link to a web site was left on the txt www.redelivery-nextday-gb.com I clicked on the link and a red screen came up with Deceptive Website Warning and this site may try to trick you into doing something dangerous like installing soft ware or disclosing personal or financial information like passwords, phone numbers or credit cards.
