They cold-call phoned me about renewal of insurance on kitchen white goods. They needed some banking details to alter the payment paperwork because they were giving me a no-claims discount. Knew enough about me to make this plausible. I 'needed to go to an appointment' [actually true] so I had to ask them to phone back tomorrow - which they were readily willing to do. SCAM Had the name of the person who had my number a decade ago. Told me that person had given them this number when bought a washing machine in 2018. When I pointed this out they hung up so I could not find out the nature of the scam. But number could have been spoofed.

This number just rang and a man's voice said he was from visa fraud so I hung up.
Number was not answered. A partial message which was distinctly robotic was attepmting to convince me that £900 pounds worth of shopping has been done using my debit card. Would I please press 1 if this was not me. Blocked. Defo a scam.

23/12/2022 Scam caller who called about housing repairs for reported defects.
The call was in relation to a card payment. The call seems fradulant as the card type mentioned was visa and this was wrong.
This number is from a FAKE SELLER who has many fake websites selling what he don't have to deliver and never gives you your money back. Don't buy anything from this SCAMMER. AVOID AVOID AVOID
