Unsure wat type of call this was - I answered and there was no response, went dead 3 seconds later. Tried calling back, number is dead. Data gathering scam is my suspicion as I was duped into subscribing to something last week and I've had a million spam emails since.

Robot voice says this is visa calling, saying they have stopped my card due to a high volume of transactions to China.. Then tells me to select an option… I shut the call off at that point. A nasty fraud call.

SCAM Message popped up on my laptop stating that it was in danger of being hacked and had been temporarily blocked. The error message suggested I called a helpline (number stated 020) said to be Microsoft Security. I rang, lady answered (Indian/pakistan accent) lots of noise in the background, she wanted me to depress the windows and the letter R key on my laptop. was evasive when I asked what would happen. SCAM Caller ID identified the call was from Bishops Stortford. The caller said he was from O2 offering a 30% discount on my tariff. I had received the same call minutes earlier from a number that was 2 digits different - 01279906021 Disconnected the call & reported it and the number to the ICO

The call was from someone claiming to be from visa saying somebody was trying to draw £900.from my account.
