This was a call about life insurance, and could save £1000 of the policy. They couldn't tell me who my policy was with, or the policy number and had the incorrect post code, so I played along with them, requesting that they give me those details first. They then changed their story and said it was a survey and asked again who my policy was with, and so it went on and on and they gave up. Number blocked from future calls, but that won't work as they have dozens of numbers. Always a woman of foreign descent.

SCAM Call from this number said she was from Carphone Warehouse. Asked why she was calling, some rubbish about a deal on a new phone. When asked how she got my number since I've never had dealings with 02084291383 i was told my number was on her database...asked 'what database'...she has a database from all network providers. Appears to be a scam. Claimed to be a travel company offering a 20% discount. Gabbled the company name fast so I couldn't identify it. Refused to say it slowly and clearly. Avoid.

They claimed to be from my bank (VM money was Yorkshre Bank) to ask me about potential fraud on my card. (£52 on Argos in Aberdeen) I was supicious when they got agressive when I didn't know my banking paswword and I said I would have to call them back. I called the fraud number I have in my phone (0800 121 4251) and they confirmed it wasn't them that called me before. The chap on the actual fraud line also said that the real bank won't ask for any part of or all your internet banking password EVER!
Hubby received a message asking if that was Mr Andrew on WhatsApp, dodgy looking person on icon, probably off Google, blocked and now reporting.
