This number called me on 16/02/2023 at 10am and was a auto-mated message claiming to be from bank security. It's a scam call.
Must have been taken back off the SPAM Callers Blacklist, as just had a call from 02038960132, on the Landline. Apparently, a recent survey has revealed that the insulation in our loft is illegal, and if we do not replace it, we will be fined by the Government. When asked how thesurvey was completed. Did they undertake breaking & entering, x-ray specs, or were beamed in by Scotty, he replied with 'Oh F*&$ Off you C*&$, I hope get cancer and die'!

Pretending to call from my bank about fraudulent transactions on my account, those transactions were taking from my account, someone had access to my card number, didn't ask me any security questions, just telling me my account issues, and didn't sound professional, was an English man, I hung up and phoned my real bank instead.Fraud

28 Nov. 2022 (17:33) a chap with Indian accent called me claiming to be from BT to say that my computer may have been compromised and that he could check that for me if I switched it on and he ran a quick check. Complete nonsense of course and an attempted scam. He said he was calling from London but the area code is Falkirk (Scotland).

Well spoken female called back after getting cut off. Said they checked my fuse box ten years ago and wanted to do another free check. Asked me to go to the fuse box. I said it was difficult to reach and it was a consumer unit with circuit breakers. She said in that case no need for a check. Obviously if they'd checked ten years ago they would know what equipment I had. Why I continued to engage with her was we had circuit breakers changed by the makers of the consumer unit as they had found quality issues.

Got a call from this number again asking for Mr Armstrong but did not say who they were, I told him the Armstrong’s have not had this number for about 4yrs to which he apologised and put phone down. We have been getting calls from this number for about 3yrs, I always the same thing as we do not know anyone with that name and they always call again!!

SCAM - i think they were a scammer, (I'm not positive but they usually are these unknown numbers). They were phoning from outdoors in Trafalgar Square in London, so they could literally be anyone, they weren't a business, (they weren't one of those that hung up immediately, they waited until after I spoke). Colder Caller DBS - Direct Business Solutions taking advantage of the current affairs with Ukraine to try and sell utility business solutions. I said several times politely to take our number off the call list, asked to speak to the right person, I said no they wouldn't be interested and to again take the number off their list, said the managing directors name and again stated we we were not interested. He was very cocky, rude and would take no for an answer so cut him off.
Another damn nuisance call. Some recorded woman's voice trying to convince me there are two fraudulent transactions on my bank account, press number one to get details etc. As it happened, I'd just been checking my bank account online, but I wouldn't have believed her anyway, as that's not the way my bank would contact me. This pathetic scam originated from a number in Knighton, a small town in Powys about ten miles from my house. Whoever you are, try and get a life!
