They called me to say my name had been added to the database and that I was involved in an accident on the road. I don't even drive.

I had a call from this number and was instantly suspicious. I phone Lloyds (PhoneBank) number to be told that this number belongs to the Lloyds Credit Card Collection department (I had missed a payment due to personal circumstances) and they wanted their money. Like most people, I am suspicious of individuals whose language skills are a lot less than mine and have a heavy accent. However, I would ask if these guys are from the collection department before going into a personal/private details. I have sort

If you get a call you should answer or call back as the problem is that the initial database maker sells your number on to other junk call companies. If you have a call from them you should call the number back and ask for James, the call centre manager and demand where they got your number from. Claiming to be from Security Dept. from First Direct. A scam.

This is one of those computer scammers. Want access to your computer etc. I googled the number and plenty have reported it as above. Block. Don t pick up or they know you are a legit number.
