Message left on home phone allegedly from the Bank of Scotland Fraud section asking for me to call them with a code number due to apparent activity on my account. Phoned the number supplied and they said they did not recognize my phone number and as such wanted my card number and sort code - which I refused to supply. Subsequently contacted my bank who confirmed that this IS DEFINITELY A SCAM and is not the way in which they operate.

Had a call from this number today at 11:40 hours. Lady named Liz Ramsey says that she is from the DWP. She claimed that her office is in Pembroke Dock. She said that there is nothing to worry about,(ha ha), my EsA is being adjusted.etc. She wants to verify any change in circumstances. She wanted to ask me some questions. Telemarketing. Nuisance calls. I now pause before simply saying "hello" and pausing again, they usually hang up. Other times they tell me they understand I am the home owner, if I ask them to tell me what my name is if that is the case - they then hang up. Several calls a week, sometimes twice a day.
