Received 2 calls to my mobile on Monday, one yesterday, just had another one today, I didn t answer as I didn t recognise the number, I recently set up a D/D to the RSPCA, so recently I ve only had one pavement go out so far, if this is on their behalf asking for me to increase my donation it s a bloody cheek! Fraud Got a phone call from this number. I answered the call and nobody answered for about 20 seconds. Then a very thick Indian accent said "Hello, this is Jenny from BT Openreach.....". I replied "No your not...your a scammer" and hung up. I know and live in this dialing code and there are no BT Openreach offices in this area. Given the accent and that it is BT Openreach (which I don't even use) I suspect this is an Indian based scam call centre.

When I picked up the phone I was told I was being called as I had had an accident. It wouldn't have been me anyway as I had answered my wife's mobile phone !! I asked who the company who the company was... I had an answer mumbled back at me... Then asked whether I would like to discuss the accident - I asked who had asked that the company call me.... and the caller hung up ! Technique - asked them a question, every time they ask you one !!
