Scammers pretending to be Microsoft virus removal experts. Linked to a dodgy website hosted by Amazon and advertised by Facebook.
On answering, there was an office type back ground noise. I didn't speak and waited for some kind of announcement. Nobody spoke to identify themselves and within seconds, hung up.
SCAM recording saying this was regarding my National Insurance number and that my NI no would be terminated due to unethical financial transactions.
This line should belong to some company, but no remark on internet about it. Haven't found any info for this one, does anyone have some experience with this number? Be aware if this number calls, it is for a shared costs, so better not to call back. Have checked also different formats of this number, but no luck. As people do search for this number, it should be used, so be aware.

This number phoned me this morning at 9 a.m. and a woman with a strong American accent told me that if I wanted to cancel my order for Amazon Prime (which I have never ordered) I needed to press 2 on my phone ........... I realised this was a scam call but took the precaution of phoning my bank just to ensure that nothing had been deducted/was pending from Amazon/Prime.
