Called by this number on 5th may. I`m told my someone has tried to take two payments totaling thousands from my account. The man did`nt mention my name but said he`d transfere me to another department. If the transaction was wrong. He also did`d mention what card or bank was being threatened. 3/5/23 This phone number is highly risky. A man with a heavy accent who is barely audible through a crackling line purports to call 'about your computer'. When challenged that this is a scam - the caller became agitated and talked over me. I put the phone down. He called back and started shouting that I had nor right to call it a scam. I told him to get off the line or I would call the police. He said he didn't care about the police. I put the phone down. This Is a SCAM. A very distressing experience.

This number called today at 07.36 and claimed to be from Microsoft. The person with an Asian accent told me my computer has been compromised and said have you herd of hackers. I asked for an email to confirm it was Microsoft but he reassured me it was and trust him he has details of my computer security number, we went round incircles a bit, then I put the phone down. 10secons later he called back asking why I put the phone down as I new he was genuine but called me from a different number02088884827.

Asked for a person who was unknown to me. No idea who they were. Had a number of smilar phone number calls today but this was the first one I had answered.
Man with Asian accent said he was calling from Virgin Media about my internet connection. He said they were having some problems which are affecting my internet connection but the call then disconnected. I've been with Virgin for many years and they've never once phoned me when there's been problems in the past. There is absolutely nothing wrong with my internet connection and I'm convinced that this was a scam call so I'm rating as dangerous.
Very rude, I tried to tell the caller we needed a new roof so energy survey was not for us and he put the phone down on me before I finished speaking.
