Said he was calling from "Credit Investigation Department" and that his records show I was currently paying off debts in my name (false). Told him to politely bugger off and remove my number from whatever database he was using. Complained to TPS.
Definitely, a scam. Told me that I had had an accident in the last two years and wanted my details.
