Rang, I answered with the Google Call Screening service. They hung up within a couple of seconds without leaving a message, so an obvious scammer.
This number was an automated call claiming to be visa about a payment made on my card ended call straight away.
Claimed to be from the postcode lottery saying I had won, since I don’t do the lottery I hung up on the call suspecting to be a SCAM

Internet. Calling from a Northern Irish telephone number. Claim to be from BT checking your router's download and upload speeds and wanting me to run a program so they can have access to my computer to supposedly clearing any faults. I did not run program.
Received call at 11'35am this morning, 14/02/23. Phone reported it as "Suspected Spam" so did not answer.
Scam call concerning a PayPal account being charges etc. They have taken false telephone numbers to a new level by using a local code but leaving one digit off the number.

A man called saying he was calling on behalf of O2, saying under O2 I was eligible for a reduced business contract. When I challenged him that he was not calling from O2 he then said he was calling from a company called YourMobile.com which 'works with an O2 platinum business partner' (Plan.com). Told him EE have my email address, to email me and then he said only the marketing department will have that...Told him I don't agree to just anyone claiming to be from EE to get money out of me for a contract I can't see. Text job scam on Whatsapp. I never applied for such a thing. There was an “intern” copy pasting the job requirements. The job itself seemed too good to be true. I looked up the actual company said number was impersonating on Linkdin and the roles offered were for experienced workers (not trainees like the scammers said) and had roles for very specific areas of the uk. The scammer couldn't elaborate on where this “job” is based but it could miraculously work from home. They had very bad English grammar.
