Claimed to be CarPhone Warehouse. When I asked where he got my number he put the phone down.

Spam. Was an automated message with threat that my internet is going to be disconnected. I have a BT line, so I put the phone down on it and then picked it up and waited for dial tone and then dialled 1572, which allowed me to block the last calling number. Not sure if that blocking facility works on other providers landlines. But worth a try. It's a neat facility.

SCAM. I got a very convincing text from this number but it is 100% a scam. The text said ‘ We attempted to deliver your EVRI parcel TZXXDA0732617072 today but no one was home. To avoid your parcel being returned visit: https://evri-parcelsecure.com’. The text was sent at 4am though so there was no way it was legit/they had tried to deliver that day. The link looks legit too but asks you to pay a redelivery fee.

I was unable to answer the call from this number because my screen was playing up. It did not light up in any way so I couldn't see how to answer or anything. This is some company who wanted me to answer to a survey. They called me numerous times before, with varying phone numbers.
