See previous comment. These Jingly bar stewards just call a slightly different number making the BT call blocker a complete and utter waste of timer. BT are just a bunch of fraudsters as well and will do nothing to prevent these nuisance calls as are the Government and Offcom. Another valid point is that when someone states on their merchandise "STOPS UP TO 99% OF NUSIANCE CALLS" I would suggest that 1% is up to 99% and they should be prosecuted under the Trades Description Act.
A rude guy claimed that I have a pending compensation which I need to approve to receive "THE MONEY". When I told him that I don't know what he is talkig about he got upset and he was shouting! :-) Funny scammers!

My 81 year old father was targeted and asked to insure his 4 year old Indesit washing machine. Unwittingly he set up a d.debit which he cancelled the next day, with the bank, when he realised he already had cover. He rang Appliance Serve and told them too, he was asked to put it in writing which he did. He is now getting calls about his non payment and they are threateneing court action as they said they hadn t received a phone call or letter. Total fraudsters targeting the elderly. #scammers

Called themselves Castlecroft Hazelere - and not a Sales Call, clearly lying they make appointments for IFA's - nothing wrong with that but caller did not know any basics and could not answer basic questions about pensions....sadly did not do her homework either as I own an IFA business and tied her in knots. If as an IFA I were paying for these ' Appointment booking' services I woul want a full refund as they are c**p. fortunately we do not and never have advertised...stay clear is my recommendation. A missed call from these people which I returned. They have also tried contacting me from other numbers. I refused to confirm any details or give a reference number (I don t have one - I ve never heard of them till yesterday). I ve been contacted in the past by debt collectors looking for Steven Griffiths (who isn t me) so I assume this is what this is about. The guy wouldn t continue the call so I advised I would be blocking them.
