SCAM in my view - telling me they were calling about the warranty on my Bosch washing machine - it had expired and wanted to charge me £7 for it. I do not have a Bosch and the machine I have is at least 15 years old! English voice for a change. Apparently the manufacturer hands over the customers details.

Had a call today claiming I had down loaded errors every time I was on line. Claimed to be working with Microsoft. He phoned first on 78678600, but phoned me back on 02034665132 as it was a bad line. needless to say I didnt turn my computer on to give him
Claimed to be BT and01784321234 if I did not co-operate with logging on to my laptop so that the aggressive man could show me all the issues with my boardband, then my internet wouldn t be secure! I told him not to worry, as Surrey police had tapped my broadband and were monitoring all of my incoming calls. Phone went dead!
