Steve Star from some company offering legal advice and help. Asked if I d had an accident in the last 2.5 years or if someone in the family had. I asked him for the source of the information on me. He asked me what I meant? I said that if he was saying I had an accident , he must have some information on me and in that case, I had a right to know the source. He said " we help people , that s what we do" then he hung up - very helpful!!

I had a call from this number and was instantly suspicious. I phone Lloyds (PhoneBank) number to be told that this number belongs to the Lloyds Credit Card Collection department (I had missed a payment due to personal circumstances) and they wanted their money. Like most people, I am suspicious of individuals whose language skills are a lot less than mine and have a heavy accent. SCAM I had a phone call from 020 8298 3548 at 3:01pm this afternoon on Thursday 25th February 2021. It was an automated message saying that I had an outstanding balance and an arrest warrant was issued for my arrest and I should press 1 to speak to a representative about it. This is an absolute scam, do NOT call or press 1.

WATCH OUT!!! ... they call you on mobile..where there is no telephone preference service. They let it ring ONLY a few rings... so you are not able to get to answer it in time! Then because its a landline number ... you are DUPED into calling THEM! ...& go to landline & ring THEM! This then means "they have not broken the telephone preference rules!!....WHY YOU ASK???? Because YOU RANG THEM!... they then have YOUR LANDLINE NUMBER Legitimately to SELL ON to others! DO NOT RING THEM BACK.....EVER!!!

Handset showed a local number but was also saying 'International' call. Said they were from Amazon and were talking about an Iphone at which point I hung up as it has nothing to do with me. I then tried ringing the local number which displayed but the number was not recognised.

Had 3 calls recently with the same recording from different numbers. They say they are from my bank, but don't say which one, big red flag. They say l have 2 unusual transactions, including from Amazon. No activity on accounts, obvious scam.
This is one of those computer scammers. Want access to your computer etc. I googled the number and plenty have reported it as above. Block. Don t pick up or they know you are a legit number.
