This number calls a few times a day Think it is for PPI!!.Got through to number very aggressive would not take no for answer.

This number is used for telemarketing purposes, mostly reported as Better Business Group or Injury Claim Lawyers, insurance marketing or similar - in fact just some call centre, the number is very likely VoIP number, sometimes people rated it as an oversea

Had missed call from this number. I phoned back and automated voice (american) "your call is very important to us, please hold......" hung up and barred number! Probably accident claims or ppi.

Just received a call from this number and hung up. Received the same call yesterday from another number 01455557703 and hung up. Both automated American female voice claiming my IP address has been compromised & will be disconnected in 24hrs. SCAM !!!!!

Supposedly from BT, Indian guy offering to remotely install antivirus on my sister's laptop. Got very irrate when I called him a scammer. Same guy called back after a few minutes hoping to get my sister who already had spent 30 minutes talking to him. When I wouldn't put my sister on the phone he threatened to disconnect the internet, so I told him go ahead and he then ended the call.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls - surveys, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8439418xxx range... People don't fall for it. Did someone answer any number of this range?

Who is this? Seems to be some general call centre with range of numbers, I have found more numbers from the same range reported by another people on different similar pages, so I assume this should be the same call centre. Mostly reported as accident chasers - insurance marketing. I would recommend to block the whole 1513759xxx range... Does someone have more info for these numbers?

I answered the call and the person on the other end said hello, then hung up.

I have had a spate of these from various numbers in the last few days, with the same female-voiced, automated message, warning of "suspicious" payments made from my bank to Amazon and international transfers. the usual "press 1" to acknowledge the message, "press 2" to speak to someone. blocked.
