This number is not secure, it is scammers pretending to be from O2, offering a 50% discount off your monthly bill. Tempting, obviously. They say a text will be sent to confirm this, followed by another text with a code to activate the offer. They will then ask you to repeat the code to them BUT doing this will allow them to take control over your account and possibly other info on your phone. Something didn't feel right so when they rang back for the code I didn't answer but googled O2 scams. Beware.

I asked why it was so cheap and they said it was a limited, local promotion not available online or instore. I asked for more details and they said they would email them to me. Lady called in and claimed to be Anna from Amazon webservices. She asked to get contact data from one of my colleagues (who doesn't have Amazon as customer) to schedule a meeting with her boss. As we are located in Germany and my colleague doesn't have business in UK or with Amazon as customer I asked about the topic of this meeting. She claimed to not know that. Didn't give her mail address either. I guess her to call from a headhunter agency in disguise
Seems like an Indian call centre, have had a few missed calls from several number over the passed few days which I have blocked. They left a 20 second voicemail by mistake with them talking in Indian and laughing before realising that she was on voicemail and hung up. No company name offered, wouldn’t trust regardless. Especially as it appears to me a mobile number and not a landline

01293267278 called 5 Jan 23 at 14:02 hours. Caller asked questions on health, and support availability. Unusual but on reflection the sort of survey results of which might be useful to care providers. I declined to give my name though was only asked for a first name.
Scam. tried to sell something, then when I said not interested, asking where they got my name and number, they changed what they were selling, becoming forceful. I kindly said that they should remove my details from their list and not call again, suggesting they were acting illegally, because I am listed in the TPS, then they slammed the phone down on me.

This is likely to be a robot caller looking for legitimate numbers so they can harvest them for telemarketing. They know its a valid number when you answer it
