The guy on the other end said something about being from the Football pools company, so I m sure it was Vernons like someone else had reported (they likely have my number from joining their casino ages back I can only assume) Since I haven t used them in years no idea why they are calling since I ve never done the Football pools EVER and have no plans to! I told him I wasn t interested and just hung up.
WI received a call from this number and when I answerewd the person said hello thenhung up. When I called back a VERY RUDE gentlemen kept telling me that I dial the wrong number. I explained to him that this is a mobile so I didnt even have to dial and he just kept repeating himself like a moronic parrott.

SCAM Claimed to be a company called Arora Called my landline. Knew my full name but had called my husband's mobile immediately before - very odd. I asked him to remove me from his database and he said, "Why? Don't you want your monay?" Then hung up.
It was a genuine call. I hung up but later phoned the Bank and sorted it out. I had ordered some dog supplies from a certain firm and they were querying this. All was well.

Asian or Indian guy calling about my non existent car accident! Arrogant and aggressive arsehole who ended up hanging up on me when I lost the rag! Said got my details from my insurer and when I demanded the name of the company who gave him my details he had the bloody check to say 'dont you know the name of your insurer'. this is another scammer but with different area codes 860 or 888 or 800 352-6863 all the same called it back said number not in service I dont know why I get so many calls & nobody says anything also get alot of recordings & get live people selling all kinds of stuff .......also got to watch out for live people that claim from MIcrosoft & they ow u a balance....I dont do anything over phone especially when its incoming calls that I dont know who they are .....
