I just got a call claiming (falsely) to be from this number, claiming (again falsely) that it was BT Openreach (or something). I answered and they mentioned something about EE, then asked me how much I pay per month, I responded, no thanks I've just started a new contract. They then said "I never asked you to change your contract", I then said, I will stop you there and just tell you I am not interested, he then responded repeatedly, "GO FCK YOURSELF". When challenged with questions such as “what bank is calling me?” The person was unable to answer and ultimately terminated the call. I knew it was a scam, but just like to waste their time as much as they waste mine.

Called me and implied that they were operating on behalf of my estate agent and this was the 'next step' in the purchase of my new property. Tried to get my address details claiming that it was all part of 'data protection' - when I said 'heck no - I'm not giving you any details' then they doubled down on the the claim that they were operating on behalf of my estate. Very upsetting.

The voice on the other end repeated themselves, I told them again I am not in a council property and an automated AI thanked me for my time and hung up.
