AMAZON SCAM after recorded message saying your AMazon account has had suspicious activity, chose 1 to follow up 2 to accept dodgy payment. Choose 1 and an non UK voice tells you someone has bought an iPhone 11 on your account - do you want to cancel this.... Obviously at this point they're trying scare you to give them details. It's a THEIF, put the phone down and check your account independently
yet another cold caller: they always ring mid to late afternoon and ring off slightly quicker than our usual callers. we just block them.

This company called our finance team, fishing for information about card machines etc. Told them we do not give out information like that to unsolicited cold calls.
Sounded vaguely feasible until I 1471 d the number and got this one-was expecting a local number as she said (and was perfectly polite, no aggression at all) she was calling direct from my local Tesco Express. But same as others-advertising in their local glossy, have never seen one and "from £15 per week" seems extortionate anyway for a 1/4 page. Anyway. Wanted her Project Manager (!) to call on me tomorrow as he "is in the area" (aren t they always?), that is when the alarm bells started ringing. Is pingi
