SCAM Kept 'Morgan' on the line for 12mins while he told me he was from 'Carphone Warehouse Company' and offered an iPhone 13 for £35. He hung up when I asked what city he was in. Number called again a minute later, so I answered with "Hello, Dartford CID"; it hung up!
SCAM Automated call pretended to be Ofcom and that my io address has been connected with links and internet was to be switched off within 24 hours, and asking me to press 1 to connect with the scammer. British Transport Police (BTP) calling back regarding an incident I had reported. Confirmed with them that they are based in a Transport for London (TfL) office which explains why most reports state that these are TfL calls, but may in some cases be BTP.
