scammed 500gbp as a deposit for an apartment in manchester. used passport and a rental agreement.

Said he wanted someone called Ban Newman. No one called Ben Newman could possibly have lived here for the last 20 years, as we have and had our number for 20 years and are on TPS, so either someone has misused our number or they are lying. If they call again I shall report them to the TPS and anyone else I can find.

IS THERE ANY POINT IN REPORTING THESE CALLS IF NOTHING IS DONE ABOUT THEM THEY STILL CONTINUE TO PHONE .

They call 2 or 3 times a day, and when i answer, i always hear a conversation going on between the people in the office, then they go silent and hang up. I called back today and spoke to a sales agent Maurice James, who said he would remove my number from their account. Tried ringing me on 13th, 17th, 19th, 20th, 21st (x2) and 25th August. Number is recognised by app on my phone as a telemarketer & nuisance caller so blocks it straight away as I have a box to tick if I want to block calls from this number

Have received numerous calls over the last hour from a woman stating that she had received a text about a receipt and a purchase. Any ideas?

Selling PPI insurance claims help / processing. Advised them the number they called is registered as not wanting any cold calls, caller stated my number would be removed from their lists.

This is a Marketing call they ring then it goes quiet then ring again i had 8 in 1 day!

Unbelievably after two calls yesterday I received another call from this number today again claiming to be TalkTalk. I told him he was lying and he rang off.

When I dialled the number back it came up as 'this number has not been recognised' which tells me it is more than likely to be a scam
