Random woman with an American accent asked how I was doing today!! Then hung up

01615070009 this number called 14th Jan, 16th Jan, 2 calls today 17th Jan. No message left. Called number as thought it might be important, recorded message says nobody available to pick up call but holding me with music! They do not identify themselves which alerts my suspicions. Almost immediately I am called back and male caller asks for James, I am female. They are calling about the vehicle collision "James" was involved in. So you be the judge. Asian sounding man called roger claiming I had a problem with my windows computer. When I told him I had about 30 here as I repair them for a living he rudely rang off without saying goodbye

I started getting calls from this number saying that I was owed compensation for a car accident I had recently been in. I informed them I had never been in an accident so they asked me if a family member had been, and I said no and hung up. I ve had a few more calls saying the same thing, and each time I told them to f*** off and hung up. Now they call, don t say anything and then hang up, this happens at least once a week.

Phoned once. Answered it but didn t say anything. Girl asked for me by name. I made enough noise that she knew someone was there and waited a minute then hung up. Half an hour later, a man called. Joe. I said "You re coming up as a nuisance call on my phone. Why is that?". He identified himself as Joe from a company called Clear Answer working on behalf of EE. I said "I won t speak to you until you provide me with your company number from Companies House". He went quiet then tried to give me "01482489010"

Some random agency contacted me from this number. They started the call with the usual "Good afternoon, I m xxxx is that surname". I sent them away with a flea in their ear as they didn t understand how impolite it is to call someone by their surname only (not even a Mr). If they can t get my name correct then how can I trust them to get me some business and/or pay invoices etc.

"Isaac" of "Pearl Advice Services" re "accident". Said he was in Birmingham. When I challenged him on saying he was in Birmingham but the number is in Maidenhead, he hung up. On calling back, I got a "number not recognised" message. Clearly false. Now blocked it.
