Nuisance call
just don't make a sound when answering , auto dialers will monitor how many times it calls a number and how many times if transfers the call to a person. if no sound is heard the system will log the number as faulty and mark it for removal.
Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 17929179xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with PPI / insurance mareting / energy schemes. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new?

A syllable is a unit of organization for a sequence of speech sounds for your info Liam. Asked when myself or my wife (i m not married) were available to talk. I clearly joked by saying midnight, at which he said he d call back then and hung up. We ll see if he calls back then. If he does, he ll wake up a 16 month year old.

Unsolicited call receieved Sept 10 2018 a day after junk mail calling was declaraed illegeal in the UK. This is from a company called Select Call about mobile phone tarriff. If you receive a call please report it to the Information Commissioners Office. This company needs to be put out of business and the directors prosecuted.
