Some foreign sounding person with a croaky voice, calling about a motor "accident compensation", claiming to be acting on behalf of the "Motor Insurance Bureau".... Tell them Nothing... I Asked them to tell me the date of the "accident" and the Registration number of vehicles involved... They then hung up immediately... Obviously Phishing for information.... ????.

Phone call from this number offering warranty on my fridge, cooker & washing machine. I was not interested in any cover & the tone of the call led me to immediately believe that this was a scam call. Terminated the call.

Interesting many mention Curry’s-Inundated for YEARS with fake curry’s and other services e mails.Plus piggy backing my e mail contacts falsely to try and get me to click on links. SCAM This number called on my land line with a recoded message stating that my internet was to be cut off within the next 24 to 48 hours because of illegal activity. If I needed to speak to an executive manager I instructed to press 1 on my handset. The internet was not cut off nor has been interrupted. This is a scam.

Fraud. Artificially generated voice. Claimed to be HMRC and that I was being investigated and subject to a magistrate case for fraud. Then asked to press 1 to speak with them and 2 to ignore. Hung up and googled the number to see if others were reporting it too.

Scam saying there from your bank and I've paid amazon over 1300 pounds and the bank need to authorise this press 1 to confirm 2 to speak to someone it's a automated message just ignore it

The usual Indian accent claiming to be from BT Openreach.

This was a scammer who pretended to be from BT talking about illegal access to your broadband.!! That's rich!! Hacked my bank account and Amazon a/c. It took ages-up to 5 days to clear this mess up and it leaves a sour taste in your mouth. If someone had asked me last night if the death penalty was appropriate for scammers, I would have agreed. Now thinking about it castration without anaesthetic would be better.
