Accented Indian male did not identify himself. Asking for a wrong name. He hung up.
PPI claims company. Asked for me by name, and said that they understood that I was recently rejected a claim. I corrected them saying I made my claims already and nothing was refused, your "facts" are wrong! Caller was like "oh, er...ok, then we ll take you off our system..." to which I interrupted "that will be advisable, as my number is TPS registered and this number will be reported if you call again!" Melville consultants visited my company saying they could appeal and reduce our business rates. The person who visited was Peter John. He said they could put in an appeal, no charge, but if appeal accepted then they would charge to complete the appeal and send in a surveyor. After researching it turns out anybody can put an appeal it takes a few minutes -the whole thing is a complete scam avoid at all costs.
