Caller purported as acting as 3rd party for a Finance Company which I have just used (so far so good). Wasn t happy when started to ask for relatively minor details (address/post code) so caller advised not prepared to discuss further. Not content with my perspective of "This is unsolicited, from a number I don t recognise, and you ve advised you are as acting as a 3rd party" tried to push on. ppi recorded message...so tps cannot stop it...pressed 5 and ranted at operator for a while, my theory being that this is the only way to cost these people money....only a good ...

This number called and an automated voice asked me to confirm if my name was Nicolson (it isn t) when I clicked option 2 to speak to someone to update their records I got another repeating automated voice telling me the lines were busy and that they were calling on behalf of a company called Dorkies in Hardengreen. Hardengreen is about 10 miles from me. I did a Google search while listening to this automated message and couldn t find any company with that name or similar and hung up assuming it s a scam.

I believe it was another electricity company scammer as we ve had a few today...they hung up as soon as i answered.

This number is indeed Eon. Very polite message left on ansphone. No return calls to that number - they left the 0345 customer service number in message to ring back.
