Missed call - research reveals likely a scam
Asian Guy (David) calling from Windows Technical about my computer. Apparently something wrong with my computer so need to turn it on so they could sort it out. I asked them to tell me what my computer IP address is - which obviously they can t tell me because they don t know who they are speaking to. IT IS A SCAM - THEY WANT A ONE OFF, LIFETIME PAYMENT. I started getting calls from this number saying that I was owed compensation for a car accident I had recently been in. I informed them I had never been in an accident so they asked me if a family member had been, and I said no and hung up. I ve had a few more calls saying the same thing, and each time I told them to f*** off and hung up. Now they call, don t say anything and then hang up, this happens at least once a week.
