An idiot rang me from this number stating that he could get me refunds for all of any of the loans, credit cards and mortgages that I d ever had during my lifetime. I told him that I didn t have any just to get him off the phone to which he replied that I WAS A LIAR. Admittedly it was a white lie, I just wanted rid of him, but he then went into an incredible abusive rant, the like if which I have never encountered before. Just paid my bill over the phone.. the agent asked me at the end of the call if I would be interested in a smart meter and could i do a survey about how I had been dealt with.. I said a definite no to both.. 30 seconds later a call from this 0800 number..... annoying..... how did they get my number.. surely no means no.......

Line took a while to connect. Caller with an Indian-sounding accent. Had call from same number earlier today, but that didn t connect. I checked the number, and it came up as nuisance call, so I hung up immediately just now. Will now block number.

This was a call from o2 sales, trying to sell discounted SIM only mobile phone contracts after I ordered a free PAYG SIM card from their website.

Seems to be a legal claims helpline that tries to optimise their call statistics bacause they don t bother talking to you. Even if you call them back, they will hang up on you.

I used to work for Stellar (temporary after redundancy). It was an awful job that paid minimum wage with no bonus. One thing I can say about them is they are genuine partners of BT which you can see at bt.com/partners. The agents that call you have all received training of a higher standard than BT agents as they wish to protect their contracts and we actually did genuinely want our customers to get a better deal. Automated message asking for a call back due to a serious lawsuit. I hung up and blocked the number.

This scammer (from an Indian call centre by the sounds of it) keeps bombarding me with unsolicited offers of a "discomfort payment" following a car accident. Because I will have nothing to do with such fraud they keep calling me back. I am on TPS.
