Automated female voice thanked me for ordering from Amazon, advised that £399 had been deducted from my credit card and my iPhone 7 .... at which point I hung up.
The person told me they were from sky and it was regarding my internet connection . I told them I would not give out my passwords or be clicking on any links in my computer as too many scammers claiming to be from this company and said if I need to talk to sky I will phone them myself. I always get calls from this number. When I answer the call, they cut the line. Everyday I get around 3 different new numbers starting with 01 and ending with 089.
Scammers. I just hang up as soon as they ask "how are you today?"....unless i feel like having some fun, then i reel off a long list of issues, like "preposterous piles" or "cretinous constipation". Don t even have a Windows computer, but that doesn t stop them calling.

I received a call from this number at 16:55 to tell me that the government owed me over ?4k I gave no bank details and when I asked what company they were calling from I was told it was a dept of the UK Government. I was also given ref no.RB51. I was told to call back in 5 mins to speak to a manager who would explain further and send me my cheque. If it was the UK Government surely they would write to people!!!
