I missed a call from this number just now (3.4.23 at 12.51). My son works in Glasgow and I was worried that something might have happened. I tried to call it back x3 and each time, after a long pause, the call failed to connect.

Banking SCAM Claimed that there was suspicious activity on my Lloyds bank account, a £22,000 payment to Mohammed builders. Lloyds confirmed that it was an attempted scam.
I answered this number and music was playing, I hung up, I don’t talk to music. My guess is that it was a call centre.

Person of asian origin said he was from Currys, asked does he mean the electronic retailer no reply given he then went in to retirick regards mobile networks, blocked the number as I have had quite a few of these type of calls over the last couple of months.

Definitely a scam, someone called using a VOIP program, could hear the tell-tale audio noise as well as the delayed relayed connection. Claimed to be from O2 offering a 50% discount on my monthly call plan, let him get so far into his spiel until he said he was going to send me two codes. Red flag behaviour; never give anyone your text-acquired code, it is to hijack your online account.
Scammed me out of £600 for flights , Tricked me into thinking i had a flight booked. I was also daft as i did a direct transfer (stupid i know) , Said his name was Raj , another guy phoned me called Satish saying he was the manager . Tried to get more money out of me and get my card details . Whatsapp shows it as a business account (Travel Agency) but anyone can register whatsapp as a business account with no proof (which is so wrong). I have reported to whatsapp . Please Don't get scammed like me.
Miss No idea who. Not Crewe phone number. Is Crewe area code, spoofed number. I ignored call. No voice message left. No text or email received either. Similar numbers have called before and I don't answer as end numbers after 01270 are not from within Crewe itself. I know as in Crewe myself. Coronavirus - this is a scammer making fraud calls under the pretence of calling on behalf of the health service doing market research. Under MRS T&C a company is obliged to reveal the name of the company hes calling from and this guy didnt want to do that. It is some coward sitting at home making false calls, harassing people, he should come out of his phone face-to-face and then i will show him how to hide behind the phone and harass people.

Fraud Call centre, pretend to be "running security" for Virgin Broadband, call to say they have "seen problems on the line". When I told them I wasn't on Virgin, they waffle on about how they do the security for all broadband suppliers, because Virgin supplies the lines for them all. I told them I was on Grain, and then they just imediately hung up. Obvious fraud scam.

I own my property which came as a surprise to him. I wonder who would have turned up at my door if I had fallen for this ruse. Be Warned....SCAM
