This number called my house phone, said her name was Alison (she had a very strong Asian accent and call centre noises could be heard) and she was calling from BT open reach about my server wasn't reaching the full fibre speed, when I questioned why this was any of BT's business (my fibre is with someone else) she paused in the script it was obvious she was reading and then carried on, I then said her why she was giving me this spiel and why was it BT's problem, she then hung up.
Called but didn’t say anything and then hung up. Probably scam

The caller rang of as soon as I answered. Therefore I suspect some Sort of sales rubbish or scammer. They will not get a chance to mess me about again as I am blocking the number. I hate this method of trying to sell things to the general public. Most of my peer group no longer answer their land line or their mobile if the number is not in their phones contact list.

SCAM 769256245 is the number dialled when I tried to voice call the sender of a Phishing scam text message claiming to be from "RoyalMail" which contained a dodgy link to arrange delivery of a fictional "Bezos Limited" parcel. The text was forwarded to NCSC Phishing Reports on 7726.

Had a call from this number on my landline at 5:30pm on Wednesday 26th July. Heard two voices on the line when I answered - one a lady who identified herself by name & said she was a local energy adviser (although this phone number is not local to me) but did not give a company name, the other a gentleman talking in a foreign language. My mum in law who is 98 had her bt bill charged £20.30 . Never got to the bottom of it as when called it wasn't recognised. Bt did waive the charge.
