I don’t understand how they have my information but when I asked they stated a family member gave my information using this phone number. Nobody has access to my phone except myself. Frustrated to answer phone as expecting 2 calls and be greeted with a reply to my 'Hello' only for the call to be terminated. Very irritating!
SCAM, this was the second of 3 phone calls I got on a saturday morning, when i was still in bed, the first 2 before 9am, I have an answer machine and neither of the first 2 left messages, dont have call logging, so can only retrieve the last caller, which was this number, then around 9:54 the phone rang for a third time, I answered immediately, as I was actually holding the phone when it rang, said hello twice, no response, then they hung up that number was 01375405982.
Had a text from this number claiming to be Halifax. I am a customer but have only just got this phone so they could not possibly know to contact me. Definitely seems to be a scam.
