It's one of those scam Tax Fraud calls claiming to be calling from HMRC and scamming thousands of pounds out of people.

SCAM calling trying to be Carphone warehouse. I know this was going to be a fraud a guy with indian accent called before. They keep changing landline numbers and I keep blocking them I have told the guy on the phone not interested. Repeating this to him multiple times hes not taken this in then I wen into repeat mode and kept repeating not interested all the time and the guy keeps trying to talk over me phone company will never do that to customer.

Scam Official sounding voice on voicemail stating suspicious and fraudulent activity near border of Wales and advising to press 1 to tal to legal investigator before taking legal action. Mentions checking National Insurance number check. Obvious scam as some of the grammar is confused but quite alarming on first hearing. I have had a number of calls from mobile numbers with the same first 8 digits.
Got a missed call from this no just after a scam call , it wasnt a known no to me and did not try to call back. Did not get any more call from this since then so not sure but definitely suspicious

This number calls and claims to be investors. Very rude individuals who call and push you to invest and they are so rude when you decline. They keep changing numbers but it is the same network of people - they are using different numbers to call - I have already blocked at least 10 other numbers they have used to contact me- stay well clear of them please!! University of Reading number, being used to call former graduates, partly for surveys on what they now do, but also to look at fundraising for future projects at the University. SCAM Claimed to be HM Customs Very Indian sounding accent Asked who i was and when I said you called me immediately threatened to."escalate my case to the police.
My answerphone is permanently on to intercept this sort of thing. These people have started leaving malicious and abusive messages. Thought this went beyond telemarketing so reported them to police. Their response was to advise if I don t want abusive calls don t use answerphone! Not sure who s the bigger waste of space, cretinous telemarketers or the Met.
